Pool & Spa Inspections
For Homes With Pools, Spas, and Water Features
A pool or spa is a major part of a property's value and ongoing maintenance cost. A pool & spa inspection evaluates the visible structure, equipment, and basic safety features so you understand the condition before you buy or schedule repairs.
What's inspected (where accessible):
- Pool shell, interior finish, coping, and tile
- Deck surfaces immediately surrounding the pool
- Visible plumbing lines at equipment area
- Pumps, filters, and heaters (basic operation)
- Visible electrical bonding and grounding at equipment
- Accessible safety features such as barriers, gates, and alarms (where present)
What This Inspection Does Not Include
- Leak detection or pressure testing
- Water quality testing beyond basic observations
- Disassembly of equipment
Sewer Camera Inspections
A Video Look Inside the Main Sewer Line
A sewer camera inspection evaluates the main building sewer line from the home toward the street connection or septic system where accessible. This can reveal conditions that are not visible during a standard home inspection.
What's evaluated (where accessible):
- Internal condition of the main sewer line
- Evidence of damage, breaks, or significant corrosion
- Root intrusion, blockages, and heavy buildup
- Low spots, offsets, or other conditions that may affect flow
Sewer line repairs can be expensive. A sewer camera inspection gives you visual documentation you can review with a plumber or use in negotiations.

Septic Inspections
A closer look at the accessible components of the property's onsite wastewater system.
A septic system is largely out of sight, but problems can become expensive quickly. A septic inspection helps provide a better understanding of the system's observable condition and identifies visible concerns or signs of improper operation before they become an unexpected problem.
What Dave Looks For
Depending on system type, accessibility, site conditions, and the scope of the inspection, Dave evaluates accessible components and conditions such as:

- Visible lids, risers, and access points
- Inlet and outlet areas where accessible
- Signs of leakage, damage, or deterioration
- Evidence of backups or improper drainage
- Drain field area for visible signs of surfacing effluent, saturation, or other concerns
- Pumps, alarms, and related accessible components when present and within the inspection scope
- Conditions that may warrant additional evaluation, servicing, or repair by a qualified septic professional
This service can be ordered alone or added to other inspection services.

Wood Destroying Insect Inspection & Report
